Cardboard Goodness

Every now and then I come across truly delightful cardboard masterpieces which I must share with you. Here is a cardboard city by Bulgarian designer and photographer Vicky Knysh.

So beautiful, right? All those interactive toys, and classic brown/black/white/red color scheme. Sigh. Go here to see more photos of her exhibit and visit her blog to enjoy even more of her art.

Thanks for letting me share your work with my readers, Vicky!

And then last night, I read this post on Apartment Therapy and had to tell you about it. This was a project by RISD Industrial Design students - making a cardboard chair for kids!

Did I get it right - that's a cardboard chair? Yes or no, I love it. Go read about the Cardboard Chair project and see photos of the other awesome chairs here.

  2. Awesome cardboard structures! We are getting ready to move and have gotten tons of boxes from the liquor store to pack in. Lots of them have nice corrugated dividers in them and I keep thinking of you as I stick them in the recycling...I want to keep them and try to make stuff with them!
