Marker Pouches Update

Hello, friends!

Two things:

1  Marker Pouches in the shop
They're all sold. And I can't say when I will be making more. Thank you for your support, as always, friends. I will be packing them this weekend and aiming to have them in the post by Monday or Tuesday. I wish I were more of a mass-production maniac so I could have made even more, because even those 15 pouches disappeared off the shelves within hours, before some of you even saw the announcement :(

BUT! This brings us to the second thing:

2  Marker Pouch Templates
I am working on the post and hope to have that out by middle of next week! So no, I didn't forget my promise to share the templates for free, so you could use them along with the quasi-tutorial; I've just been busy making the pouches themselves for the shop, and adjusting back to being home after our trip to the tropics.

Anyway, hopefully with the templates, you'll be able to make your own marker pouches! Check back next week for that post!

  1. Yay! Thank you! Even though I was one of the lucky 15 I'd love to make these for teacher gifts and my children/family! I'm so looking forward to it!

  2. I have been following your blog and your bag tutorials, and want to say a BIG THANK YOU for all the helpful information. I have been making better, more complex bags, and it is because of the wonderful resource you have taken the time to provide. You rock!

  3. Hooray! I'm so excited for the templates. Every time I bring out the tattered zipper pouch in which I keep my kids' markers, I think of your lovely pouches.

  4. Thank you! I wasn't able to buy one of your pouches in the shop but would be interested in trying to make one.

  5. I loved these marker pouches as soon as you originally blogged about them. I was even silly enough to make 28 of them for party favours. If anyone is in too much of a hurry to wait for the templates, I used LiEr's measurements to create a diagram of the pieces on my blog, Random Crafting Adventures. I also included helpful tips that I learnt from making 28 marker pouches.
