Organizing 2010

This new year, I am going to be more organized.
Meaning, I am going to cart things into and out of the
house from the car without dropping stuff
on the slushy garage floor.

I got this for Christmas - look how flat it is!

And look what it pops up into!

I've wanted one of these forever. When I first found out
about them some years back, they only came in solid
colors. Not any more! It was hard to pick just one to
put on my wish list.
Good thing the husband has great taste.

Anyway, this basket is going to live by my split-entryway
for hauling jackets, purses, diaper bags, park supplies,
snacks, sippy cups out to the car without dropping
any. And for hauling the same things, plus groceries,
back into the house. And for coralling and
carting the Downstairs Toys down from upstairs,
and vice versa. And the odd laundry load.
And farmers' market purchases.

And the occasional child (if you are very careful!):

Why am I posting about it on a craft blog, though?
Apart from supporting my claim that For Others
Shalt She Sew Bags, For Herself Shalt She Buy?

Well, see those strappy tab things holding the bag to
the metal frame? They're velcro. This means the bag is
removable
. This means I can, in theory, make an
unlimited number of switchabout, swoppable
bag bottoms! New obsession!

  1. I have 2 of these and I LOVE mine. They are wonderful for staying organized. I keep one in my car to use while out shopping. Both of mine are monogrammed. Love & blessings from NC!
