I Am At It Again

. . . mass-producing, I mean.

Is any one else mourning the end of the summer hols.? And missing the children already? And going nuts preparing school supplies and backpacks and things? And realizing, ironically, that they are actually getting less sleep during the supposedly-relaxed summer than during the supposedly-busy school season? And that, really, all of life is mania, except it manifests differently in the *hols. than term time?

*hols. = short for holidays, which is what we call "school break/vacation" in Singapore.

P.S. The photo above is a toy. Or, at least it will be a toy when it's actually made. All I will say now is that there are 80 curved darts involved.

  1. 80 darts? How round can round be? Can't wait to see the next step!

  2. 80 curved darts! What fun - ha! I'd be glad for summer's end if only fall lasted forever! ;)

  3. Once I said to my older, wiser sister, "I can't wait for life to get back to normal." She laughed and said, "Honey, this is normal." Twenty-five years later I absolutely know she was right.

  4. I *wish* I could make things in duplicate! I always make one to start to make sure I'm happy with it....and then never get around to making more because I'd rather try something new. I made a hoodie for my daughter, promised two to my sisters-in-law for my nieces, and I'm pretty sure those girls have now outgrown the fabric I have cut out and never sewed together. One of my least-favourite bad habits!

  5. I'm unable to duplicate as well.

  6. Can't wait to see what you are making!

Thank you for talking to me! If you have a question, I might reply to it here in the comments or in an email.
