Some photos of the Little One Yard Wonders launch party that was held at The Crafty Planet in Minneapolis on June 7th (yes, it's taken me this long to finally blog it).
Some projects from the book in the window display.
Trish Hoskins' Tot Tote - love how she used those grommets and strap.
Adrienne Lodico's adorable Bunnies vs. Chicks Four-in-a-Row Game:
Some of the garments- and Rebecca Yaker's Poufy Ball Mobile:
Maggie Bunch's beautifully-smocked Lucy-Cate Bishop Dress:
It was fun to see my own projects there, too -
we used the House as a backdrop for a lot of our people-photos. Here I am with Trish and Rebecca, the authors.
Here's Rachael with her son modeling her Go Away Big Monster Towel.
Back to the House now - the sample I sewed for the book is now retired. I already have our original House that I made for Kate's 4th birthday, and I don't need a second, identical one.
So it's going into the shop for sale. It's never been played with - it's only been used in the photoshoot for the book and the display in the store for the launch party. If you'd like to give it a new home, check out the listing in my shop for dimensions, details and price. For more photos of the original house (the one in the shop is identical), see this post. The three tension rods are included.
It rolls up nice and skinny, and stores easily.
I'm planning to review this book sometime in the immediate future, and Storey Publishing is featuring interviews with some of the contributors, including me, on their blog, Inside Storey, this week. So look out for both of those soon!
