Coils

Another crafty thing from my childhood, like those crazy morphing wallet-totes. I'm aiming to start a new trend. Can you guess? I'll give you a clue: I used it in school.

  1. A fanny pack? Yes, I was so nerdy I actually owned not just 1 of those but several to match my outfits, oh and hats to match too. Lol I will forever hide those pics. ;)

  2. It reminds me of those slap-on bracelet things that were popular, except there's too much of a coil. I have no idea!

  6. I'm going to guess... bookstrap? I think I'm older than you, and I never used one in the US, but I can't think what else it could be.

  11. ha ha, maryanne, I thought of snap-bracelets too. but, yes, way too much coil to be one of those.

    i'm assuming they aren't headbands...

i'm going to have to go with book bands too, though i've never seen one used in real life. that would be quite the trend to set!

  13. I think they are book straps, but I am sure others have said that already.

They look too long to be head bands.

I love making straps that come out perfect and even with beautiful seams, so I can't wait to see what this is.

  14. I have to go with the books straps as well even though I have never used one, these look like what I think one would look like except way prettier fabric than the old originals would have been.
