An Owie Doll for Japan

Update: Shannon is going to her new home! Thank you, person-who-adopted-her (not mentioning names here for confidential reasons).

A quick shop post to say that I've put my last Owie Doll back on active listing in the shop

All proceeds from the sale of Shannon will go towards disaster relief for the Japan earthquake/tsunami crisis, via Samaritan's Purse, which is our family's adopted charity. My heart aches for all the families and individuals involved. If I were less sick and more in the mood to sew (I'm off sewing for a while), I'd have made her a kimono. But anyway.

So if you'd like to help out, and adopt a little dolly in the process, you can check her out here.

Shipping is free anywhere in the USA, and discounted for anywhere else in the world.

I'm going to try and get myself back in a sewing mood and make a couple more different dolls (no, not Owie dolls) soon. If they don't turn out hideous, I'll put them in the shop for Japan, too.

  1. It still says unavailable on your etsy site. Thanks!

  2. Courtney: the doll was sold yesterday, not long after I listed it. I'm afraid the shop is completely bare now. I'll try and put some things in it soon.
