There is Only One Thing This Fabric Can Be Made Into

And yet, when I bought it two years ago, the cutting-table staff asked me, "So, what are you going to make with this?"

Roll eyes.

Tsk.

Isn't it obvious?

  1. Mermaid tails or some other fishy related project?

  2. A mermaid costume!!!! At least, that's what I made mine into when I bought exactly the same fabric in Coventry, UK.

  5. If I bought it it would be to make a dragon or a mermaid tail. Am I close?

  6. Oh my! You always make me laugh!
I think I shall not guess and wait to see for myself (please don't roll the eyes at me:)
Although to tell the truth I make weird things with fabric so the staff at the 2- 3 shops I am regular with stopped asking me that. I bet they are the ones rolling their eyes in disbelief!

  9. I must be out of it because it is NOT obvious to me. :-)

  11. Dinosaur!

Or at least, that's what my dinosaur-saturated brain says. It's all my daughter will talk about.

  15. Hm. I can think of several things to make it into... a mermaid for one! Or a fish (like the Rainbow Fish)... Fun fabric for sure and I can't wait to see what you do with it!

  16. If you bought it at JoAnn's, the sales clerks are programmed to automatically chant, "What are you going to make with this?" as they cut your yardage. Many, I observe, do not actually give a crap about what the customers are making. I have, to my own amusement, made up bizarre stories when answering their question.

  17. Oh my - I must have been on "morning brain" when I replied before. Obviously it's not a "mermaid tale" but a "mermaid tail". Really, I do know how to spell!
