More MiniBags

More tiny bags:

They're only about 5" tall. The children thought they were very cute (as did I). They belong to the same project I mentioned in the earlier post about the other undersized bags.

Don't worry - this is the last of the elfin bags. After this, I'll be making normal-sized bags (and the pattern for them). Because look what I bought!

I won't lie to you: it was exorbitant (shudder).

But if that isn't beautiful print, I don't know what is. It's Orla (and not just some regular fabric designer).

With print like that, I don't even need to try to make a gorgeous bag. It will just happen, with no credit to me. And if I throw a KMax CD into the production... well, then- the sky's the limit. See ya soon!

  1. I saw that Orla print on a comforter, I think at Bed Bath and Beyond, and was contemplating trying to buy it to cut up. But, of course, they made the print on the comforter larger, which would not work for a bag, not to mention the wrong weight. SO stunning.

  5. I just saw that gorgeous Orla Kiely print at Bed Bath and Beyond today. I drooled shamelessly, but unfortunately my pocketbook will never allow me to own such beauty!

  7. Those are adorable! Best little bags I've ever seen. And the fabric... the best projects just make themselves, don't they? =)
