Pssst
I am juuuuuuust about to go eat a double chocolate chip muffin, now slightly stale, but wanted to check in and thank you all for the comments on my loopy embroidery pattern. I should start on it soon, while I've got the momentum going. But wanted to also say, conspiratorially, that I've just cut out about 25 pockets. All different, but all blue! He he he! What's it for? Stay tuned! Telling the entire internet is my way of making sure I don't chicken out and start sewing for Christmas or something. Take that, Joann/Hobby Lobby/Michaels!

is it for an advent calender ???
ReplyDeleteHeheh thts a good plan. I might use that when I feel a project may be prone to procrastination.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the muffin and next time save one for me. x
25 pockets? Some sort of travel organizer to hang in the backseat with activities to keep the girls occupied on long drives? A hold all vest/shirt for yourself to carry around the stray toys, sewing needles, measuring tapes, Nutella IVs, etc. that you use daily?
ReplyDeleteI know 25 blue pockets would be and advent calendar for me... Hmm 25 denim pockets on a burlap background. I might have to start working on that if I want it done my Turkey Day!
ReplyDeleteHa! That's a great tip for staying accountable!
ReplyDeleteI love your method of holding yourself accountable!
ReplyDeleteBlue pockets: something ocean-y or beach-y since it's the antithesis of Christmas.
hihi...
ReplyDeleteProblem with the accountability: Father-in-law made turkey the day after I commented! I can still find 25 denim pockets before Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteYou ladies made me laugh! No, this was not meant to be a teaser post. And the number 25 was a random number - the actual number of pockets is insignificant. In fact, I am up to 28 now, having added three more last night. And really - that's all they are - just pockets! I swear!
ReplyDeleteKris: I really like that denim on burlap combination you mentioned. My favorite colors! What a fun advent calendar that would be.
