I know, I know.
Lions are supposed to be savage and wild and dangerous.
A little higher excitement factor in this variation - a tufted tail,
filled patches (like the frog eyes) for his muzzle. And that dangerous hair, of course.
And let's talk about his ears. See those ivory inner ear bits? They aren't appliqued patches. The outer tawny ear simply rolls over the ivory inner pieces. I will teach you how to make those rolled-edge ears in the pattern. You'll use that technique for lots of other ears!
Savage... wild... dangerous! Um... yes, indeedy! I'm afraid... VERY afraid! But I sure do feel inclined to hug him! :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite, based on sheer cuteness. Must be the mane. Or the oranginess. (The frog gets big points for humor... the fly! I do love funny things.)
ReplyDeleteAre your plushies getting cuter with time or I'm just slowly regressing into a 8 years old version of myself? Really awesome work!
ReplyDeleteDangerously CUTE!
ReplyDeleteI was eye-balling those ears and couldn't believe mine when I saw you were including instructions. Yipee!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been able to respond to the others but awesome!
ReplyDeleteAmazing what you've been making from the same basic pattern.
I can't wait until you release the pattern - you are killing me with all these adorable creatures!
ReplyDeleteThe body shape sort of looked like a mouse's... but its so darn cute anyway!
ReplyDeleteI really like your lion! The ears look very clever.
ReplyDeleteThese are all soooooo cute! I love what you're doing-how it's all one template to work from. genius!
