Frog

Experiments in eyes and limbs today.

Frogs aren't the most cuddly animals in real life. They don't have fur, they're somewhat cold and slimy, they're not real affectionate, and their food is a bit gross.

But then, there's Kermit. Who doesn't love Kermit?

I was very pleased with how absolutely froggy this base shape could be. I swear, I didn't change anything.

Two quite different variations in this animal: protuberant eyes, which were filled patches,

and the spindly limbs, which were partial-stuffed to make webs.

and the fly, of course. It's Kate's favorite part. Like I said in yesterday's post: holistic approach to softie-care - always also sew food.
